The beautiful Skagit Valley in Northwestern Washington State will be the home of the 2009 Girl's 14A Fastpitch Western National Championship. The tournament will be held from July 27th to August 2nd 2009 and it promises to be the best one ever!!
We have been privileged to host two prior Western Nationals, in 2001 and 2005. Both tournaments scored high with all who were here, and we were awarded the James Farrell ASA Award for Excellence for our 2005 tournament. |

The Skagit Valley, bisected by Interstate Route 5 lies about halfway between Seattle and Vancouver. B.C., and is accessible via two major international airports as well as highway and rail. A wide variety of environments and scenery from the Pacific Ocean to the North Cascade Mountains surround our rural setting and are easily accessible.
While our temperate climate, 8 lighted fields, beautiful vistas and experienced tournament staff and management are all pluses, the most permanent memories carried away by the some 2000 visitors during our prior Western National Championships were our hospitality and the simple friendliness of the “locals” from the tournament staff to the volunteers, merchants, newspaper, and the local residents. Our job and privilege is to make you feel welcome, safe, entertained, fed and housed as well as to provide the setting for new friendships, one of the best times of your lives and some really great softball.
Our local governments, organizations, residents and tournament staff are hard at work getting ready for your visit.
Come Early - Stay Longer. |
